Rob got his start in the ’90s, cutting his teeth in the Southern California indie scene, and falling in love with the process of making records. His career began at Singing Serpent in San Diego and later Kingsize Soundlabs in Los Angeles, where he worked across genres recording, mixing, producing, and ultimately mastering music for artists and brands alike.

With more than two decades in the studio, Rob approaches mastering as both a discipline and a conversation. His focus is on feel as much as frequency- refining the energy, balance, and emotion that make each track connect. It’s this combination of experience, perspective, and curiosity that defines his work and continues to guide every project that passes through Secret Weapon.

Beyond the studio, Rob leads creative projects through his independent label Hey Amigo! and his award-winning music agency Sneak Attack Music. But at heart, he’s still that kid chasing the perfect sound.
